Welcome to the Nuevo Citizens Patrol website. The Nuevo Citizens Patrol (NCP) members support the community in numerous ways. In addition to patrolling the community, NCP assists deputies with crime scene containment, traffic control at accident scenes, as well as administrative support such as document delivery to the District Attorney, and taking vehicles in for service as needed. These tasks free up our deputies, providing more community resource, and faster response to calls for assistance.

Our goal is to help make our community a safer environment for ourselves and our children, by aiding local law enforcement and ensuring that criminals are aware that the community is watching. Though we would like to address every concern brought to our attention within the community, please understand that we are a 100% volunteer organization, and are not able to provide the same services as that of a sheriff’s deputy. If you have an emergency please call 911! Check out our Community Contacts to find services that might be better suited to help you with your situation. We now have over 50 volunteers that not only offer their time, but also take very seriously how they can help others in their community.

All of our volunteers are CPR certified and have completed a 5 day, 40 hour Citizens Academy through the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. This better helps our team to respond to traffic control, crime scene containment, radio communications, emergency and disaster response as well as a better understanding of defensive drivers training, and many other beneficial skills.
